Eka G4 Swing Blade Black

The EKA SwedBlade G4 is a fantastic hunting knife that was made to be used. With two blades at your disposal. A drop-point blade to remove the skin and cut the game into pieces, and an 'opener' blade with which you can open the stomach without piercing the intestines.

EKA devised a clever system to turn the G4 SwedBlade into a tool that contains two fixed knives. Half of it disappears into the handle whilst a lock ensures that your fingers are safe during use. Because one of the blades is always 'open', EKA has included a solid plastic sheath.

The handle is made from a plastic that EKA calls Proflex, you can compare it to Kraton, a synthetic and soft replacement of natural rubber. Even in wet weather you will have enough grip. The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel a Swedish steel specifically developed for knives. Stainless, easy to sharpen, and retains its sharpness well. Great for a knife such as this!

When it comes to a hunting knife hygiene is key. You don't want dirt to accumulate in between the scales that are difficult to remove. That is why EKA enhanced the G4 with a click system that enables you to quickly take the knife apart. As such you can also easily clean the difficult-to-reach corners.
