Every cabinet here is held in stock and can be seen in our Bromsgrove shop, near M5 Junction 5. Cabinets are heavy enough that delivery has to be quoted individually rather than charged at a flat rate, which is why they aren't on the standard checkout. Call us and we'll price delivery to your postcode or set the cabinet aside for collection. The Brattonsound ST3 suits most first-time shotgun certificate holders, the RD7+ takes seven scoped rifles, and the Lokaway LBA20 has a built-in ammunition compartment. No. Gun cabinets are not controlled items and anyone can buy one. In practice you'll need suitable storage installed before your firearms enquiry officer inspects your property, so most applicants buy the cabinet during the application rather than after the certificate is granted.
Cabinet delivery is priced by weight and destination, so it can't be charged at a flat checkout rate. Call the shop with the model you want and your postcode and we'll quote it, or reserve the cabinet for collection. Everything listed here is in stock.
We deliver. Delivery is arranged through the shop rather than the website and quoted on the cabinet's weight and your location. Collection from our Bromsgrove premises is free and usually quicker. Call us with the model you're after and we'll confirm availability and cost.
The RD5, RD7+, RL5+ and RL7+ models are built with the internal width and height for rifles with optics fitted. Standard shotgun cabinets are usually too narrow. Check the internal dimensions against your longest rifle with its scope and mounts attached before ordering.
The Lokaway LBA20 has a built-in internal ammunition safe. Several Brattonsound models include a lockable top compartment suitable for smaller quantities. If you hold Section 1 ammunition in volume, a standalone unit from our Ammunition Safes category is the better option.
We don't offer an installation service. Cabinets must be bolted to a solid brick or concrete wall or floor, which is straightforward for most competent DIYers. We stock the M10 bolts and fitting kits, and can talk you through what your firearms enquiry officer will be looking for.
