A .22 rimfire bore guide machined specifically for the CZ 452, 453, 455 and 457 action. It holds the cleaning rod centred in the bore and keeps solvent out of the trigger group.
Key Features:
Model-specific fit for CZ 452, 453, 455 and 457 rimfire rifles in .22
CNC machined from solvent-resistant polymer for long service life
Seats against the rear of the chamber so cleaner stays out of the action
Keeps the cleaning rod clear of the ejector to prevent rod scratching and ejector wear
Tapered rear opening for easy jag and brush alignment
Widened solvent port lets you wet a patch without withdrawing the rod
Cleaning a rimfire barrel with an unsupported rod is a quick way to put wear where you least want it. A rod entering at an angle drags on the ejector and the chamber mouth, scratching the rod and rounding off surfaces that decide how well the rifle groups. A bore guide takes the guesswork out of it by holding the rod on the axis of the barrel from the moment it enters the action.
Bore Tech machine these to the specific action rather than selling one universal tube and hoping, so this version beds properly into the CZ 452, 453, 455 and 457 instead of approximately. The body is CNC machined from a solvent-resistant polymer and seats against the rear of the chamber, which keeps cleaner in the barrel and away from the trigger. A tapered rear opening makes lining up a jag or brush straightforward, and the widened solvent port lets you wet a patch mid-stroke without pulling everything back out.
A sensible bit of kit for anyone who cleans a CZ rimfire often enough to care how the barrel is holding up.

It is made for the CZ 452, 453, 455 and 457 rimfire actions in .22. Bore Tech machine their rimfire guides to a specific action rather than producing one universal tube, because on a rimfire the guide is located by the receiver itself. That is why fit is model-specific and why a generic guide often will not seat properly.
You can clean without one if you are careful and use a coated rod, but a guide makes carelessness harder. An unsupported rod enters the barrel at an angle, drags on the ejector and the chamber mouth, and wears the throat area over time. On a rifle you have bought for accuracy, that is a cheap thing to prevent.
Remove the bolt and the guide takes its place in the action. It seats against the rear of the chamber so the cleaning rod is already aligned with the bore before it enters the barrel, and stays put while you work.
