CZ's own two-stage Flyweight trigger turns any CZ 457 into a proper target rifle, with a light, fully adjustable break for prone, bench and club competition.
The CZ 457 Flyweight Trigger Kit is the factory two-stage target trigger for the 457, made for shooters who have outgrown the standard trigger on the range. The two stages do different jobs. The first takes up the slack and gives your finger a known stopping point. The second is the deliberate squeeze to the break. Get that sequence consistent and the rifle stays on the aim mark as the shot goes, which is exactly what prone and bench shooting rewards.
The adjustment list is the real draw. Setting blade angle and reach is what lets it fit an adjustable target stock properly, and shooters coming from an Anschütz can carry their favourite blade across. It suits a target-ready rifle such as the 457 Long Range Precision II, or turns a sporter into something worth taking to a club competition.
Set light, this is a range trigger. For foxing and rabbiting in cold weather the heavier standard trigger is the better partner, so if one rifle does both jobs, run the Flyweight towards the top of its range. The manufacturer publishes a fitting manual and setup videos. After fitting, check the safety and trigger reset before live firing. Other upgrades sit among our rifle triggers and the rest of the CZ range.

Yes. CZ lists it as compatible with all CZ 457 models, whatever the stock or barrel configuration. It is made for the 457 action specifically, so if your rifle is an older 455, check which model you have first. Once fitted, the blade and travel adjustments let you set it up to suit your stock and hold.
The second stage adjusts between 0.9 and 1.8 N, which works out at roughly 90 to 185 g, or about 3 to 6.5 oz. That is firmly target territory. Start towards the heavier end, get used to the two-stage feel, then work lighter in small steps once the break is predictable.
The standard trigger is a single-stage design aimed at general and field use. The Flyweight adds a first stage of take-up before the break, a much lighter second stage, and adjustment for travel, overtravel and blade position. If you shoot competitively or score every card, it is the upgrade. For walked-up rabbiting, the standard trigger does the job.
CZ publishes a fitting manual and its own installation and fine-tuning videos. Anyone used to taking the action out of the stock and working on a trigger group will manage. If that is not you, have a gunsmith fit and set it. Either way, check the safety works correctly and the trigger resets cleanly before live firing.
