The FAB Defense Vanguard AR M-Lok Handguard in green replaces the standard plastic carbine furniture on an AR platform rifle and does two jobs at once. It gives you M-LOK mounting on multiple faces, and it puts a proper heat shield between the barrel and the hand holding it.
At 206 mm long and 213 g, it occupies much the same space as the furniture it replaces, so nothing meaningful is added to weight or length out front. Slots run along the sides and underside for grips, lights and bipod adaptors, and M-LOK to Picatinny sections bolt straight on for anything still built around a rail. The two QD sling sockets are moulded in rather than bolted on.

It is intended for compatible M16, M4 and AR-15 models and variants. The manufacturer specifies a barrel of 14 inches or longer, a carbine-length gas system and no gas block. Those conditions all matter, so do not rely on the AR-15 name alone. Check the barrel, gas system and front-end arrangement of your exact rifle before fitting.
