The Harris Bipod Swivel BRM Notched Legs 6-9" M-lok is a low bench and prone bipod for rifles with an M-LOK handguard. Bolting it straight to the slot leaves fewer parts between rifle and bipod, and nothing extra to buy before it fits.
Notched legs are the reason to choose it over a smooth-leg model. The height you zeroed at is the height you get next time. The steps are a full inch apart, so on rough ground set each leg to the nearest notch and let the swivel level the rifle. For long grass or slopes, the 9 to 13 inch L models in the Harris bipods range give more clearance.
It fits M-LOK only. For a stock with a sling stud, the stud-mount S-BRM is the one to pick, and our bipods and rests range covers other mounting types. Check for a free slot ahead of the magazine, and that a deep magazine clears the ground at full height. Fitting needs a 1/8 inch hex key, not supplied, and the rifle should be unloaded first.
It suits M-LOK rimfire and centrefire rifles used for zeroing, target work and foxing from the prone position.

It bolts directly into a slot on an M-LOK handguard or forend, with no rail section or separate adapter. You need a 1/8 inch hex key, which is not included, and the rifle should be unloaded before fitting. It will not mount to a sling swivel stud or Picatinny rail, so check your rifle has a free M-LOK slot ahead of the magazine.
Harris quotes 11.6 oz, which is about 330 g. That is light enough to leave fitted for a range session or an evening's foxing. The heat-treated steel and hard alloy construction keeps it rigid without adding bulk under the forend.
Notched legs lock at 1 inch intervals and release with a button, so the same height comes back every time. Smooth legs adjust to any height and lock with a thumb screw. Notched suits shooters who work from a bench or a known firing point. Smooth suits those who want finer height changes on varied ground.
