A khaki 125 cm rifle slip in coated 600D polyester with a shockproof rubber tip, quilted anti-pilling lining and a large side pocket, cut with room for a scoped rifle.
This is the slip for every outing. The coated shell wipes clean, the rubber tip sits exactly where a slip normally frays, and the reinforced handles mean it can be lifted with the rifle inside without the stitching complaining. The strap unclips, which is handier than it sounds.
It is a soft slip, so it suits the drive to the ground, the walk to the high seat and the trip home. For flights or courier transport, a hard case from the shooting bags and cases range is the better choice. The ProHunt Carbine rifle slip is the plainer stablemate, with a flat polyester lining and no rubber tip, so the Dendi is the pick if the rifle spends time on hard floors.
Before ordering, measure the rifle from butt pad to muzzle with everything fitted and check it against 125 cm. After a wet day, wipe the outside down and leave the slip open to dry before the rifle goes back in. A damp slip is where rust starts.
