The Umarex PAC 900 Performance Air Compressor is a 230V mains PCP compressor for home or range filling, with a 1 bar adjustable auto shut-off and a 300 bar maximum.
The Umarex PAC 900 Performance Air Compressor is built to stay in one place, plugged in on the bench or in the range hut, and take over the filling that a hand pump turns into hard work. It suits the PCP shooter who fills a rifle or two several times a week and would rather not pump, or drive to a dive shop.
Most of the convenience is in the display. Set the target pressure once and the compressor stops itself when it gets there, so you are not standing over a gauge waiting to switch off. Because the limit moves in single bar steps, it can match a rifle's recommended fill pressure closely.
Oil-free, water-free running keeps it tidy indoors. There is no reservoir to fill, drain or forget about over winter, and the filter sponge is easy to replace when it needs doing.
The 1 litre single-fill limit is the main thing to check before buying. Rifle reservoirs and small buddy bottles are well within it, which covers most home users. Anyone filling larger carbon tanks for the field will be better served by a bigger unit. Mains power keeps the PAC 900 at home, so our 200 bar PCP hand pump makes a sensible companion for days out. You will find fill adapters and spares in the rest of our air gun charging range.
For a home workshop and a regular PCP habit, it is a straightforward plug in and fill setup.

It fills PCP airguns and air tanks to a maximum of 300 bar. The Foster quick-connect hose comes with 1/8 inch, M10 and M10x1 adapters, which covers most common fill ports. Tanks up to 1 litre can be filled in a single run, so rifle reservoirs and small buddy bottles are comfortably within its range.
No. It runs oil-free and water-free, so there is no reservoir to fill or drain and nothing to spill on the workshop floor. Built-in overheat protection keeps it within its working temperature on warm days, and the filter sponge is designed to be easily replaced as part of routine care.
It is designed as a stationary compressor and runs from a 230V mains plug, so it needs a mains socket wherever it goes. That suits a home workshop or a club range with power. For topping up in the field, a PCP hand pump is the usual companion.
You set the target pressure on the display and the compressor stops when it reaches it. The limit adjusts in 1 bar increments, so you can match your rifle's recommended fill pressure closely. It means you are not watching a gauge and switching off by hand partway through a fill.
