Over-barrel designs sit back over the muzzle and keep overall length down, which suits stalking and anything you carry all day. Muzzle-mounted units add length but are simpler to fit and easier to move between rifles. Thread pitch is what catches people out, so check what your barrel is cut to before ordering, and ask if you are not certain. Moderators cannot be sent to Northern Ireland.
It depends on how your barrel is cut. Moderators are thread-specific, so one cut for the wrong pitch will not mount, and an adaptor is not always the right answer. If you are not sure what your barrel takes, call 01527 831 261 with your rifle make and model and we will check it against what is in stock.
