Working gundog handlers already buy cartridges, slips and ear defenders from us, so the whistles and dummies come off the same order. The Acme Dog Whistle 210.5 and 211.5 are the two standard pitches for UK gundog work, and the Bisley 1lb Dog Dummy and 1/2lb Puppy Dummy cover both the mature dog and the youngster starting out. Everything here is held in Bromsgrove, a short drive from M5 Junction 5, so you can collect the same day rather than wait on a courier.
Both are standard UK gundog pitches and both are in stock. The 211.5 is slightly higher and carries a little further in wind and heavy cover. The 210.5 is the more common all-round choice for spaniels and retrievers. Plenty of handlers keep one of each on a lanyard.
he Bisley 1/2lb Puppy Dummy is the usual starting point for a young dog, moving up to the 1lb Dog Dummy once retrieves are confident and the mouth has settled. Plenty of handlers keep both in the bag. Both are in stock in green canvas.
