Browning offers some beautifully designed and well-made shotguns and the 525 Sporter Laminate is one of them. With a sporty and aggressive style, the SL is an improved upon version of the original 525 over and under shotgun.
With a new, blue, laminate stock, which does a good job of providing stability and reducing recoil, the Browning 525 Sporter Laminate feels very different from other 525 models. The new stock is heavy, around 8lbs, but this weight is a good thing as it provides the shooter extra stability.
This model has a clean, finished action with no decorative engraving and just the model name and Browning logo in black which looks smart. You will also find on the gun a three-position trigger and a rod-type green ‘high viz’ sight on the muzzle. The 525 SL also comes with three ‘Invector Plus’ extended ‘Midas’ chokes
