The Modfather is a short, high-capacity air rifle moderator from 3 Legged Thing built around studio-grade acoustic foam and an aerospace magnesium alloy body. This Spiderweb variant pairs an intricate latticed exoskeleton with an Orange and Black finish same internal performance as the rest of the range, entirely different presence at the muzzle.

At just 12cm / 4.7" long, with a substantial 45mm / 1.77" diameter, The Modfather packs an impressive 92ml / 3.2 fl oz internal capacity into a short, balanced body. It’s engineered to be exceptionally quiet and built to look like nothing else on the firing line.
Most air rifle moderators are a tube of baffles in matte black. The Modfather is not most moderators.
3 Legged Thing, a British manufacturer better known for camera tripods and shooting sticks, applied the same precision engineering to the moderator. The result is a 12 cm / 4.7" body with a 45 mm / 1.77" diameter that manages to pack 92 ml of internal volume into a compact, muzzle-balanced package. Inside that body sits high-density acoustic foam rated at 24 kg/m³, the same specification used in recording studios and radio stations. Where a baffle system works by deflecting the gas pulse, the foam absorbs and diffuses it, smoothing the overall report rather than just clipping the peak. When lead particulate eventually builds up, and it will, the foam is user-washable, so performance is restored without replacing any components.
The Spiderweb exoskeleton is the striking outer shell, an intricate machined lattice in Orange and Black anodised aerospace magnesium alloy. It's visually distinctive without compromising airflow, and it's structurally identical to the Slotted and Chevron variants. The finish is a choice, not a compromise.
Where the Modfather separates itself further is the modular system. An optional extension tube adds a third chamber for greater suppression. Two Modfathers can be stacked using the extension ring.
