Description

The Vanguard Quest M62 A Monopod Shooting Rest is a single aluminium leg topped with a V-yoke, for shooters who want as little as possible to carry. Soft rubber fins in the yoke hold the forestock safely in place, and the swivel means a shot at any angle can be taken without repositioning the stick.

The 155.5 cm maximum is measured to the top of the yoke, so it already includes the rest. The leg has a contoured rubber hand grip, and Vanguard backs the rest with a 2 year warranty. With the yoke off, the 1/4 inch thread bolt takes a wide range of lightweight heads for shooting, birding or photography.

The Quest series also comes as the Quest B62 A bipod, and as 3-in-1 sticks in the aluminium Quest T62A or the carbon fibre Quest T62C, with more in our shooting sticks range. The Quest M62 A suits stalking, foxing and any shooting where you carry your support on foot.

Product Information

How does the Quest M62 A compare with the Quest B62 A and the Quest T62?

Each suits a different need. The M62 A is one leg at 360 g, folding to 66.5 cm, the pick for keeping your load down. The B62 A adds a second leg at 700 g and folds to 68.5 cm. For a tripod, bipod and monopod from one stick, the T62A comes in aluminium at 1020 g and the T62C in carbon fibre. All four share the V-yoke design.

Can the V-yoke on the Quest M62 A be used on a tripod or another head?

Yes. The yoke is removable and attaches to any tripod or monopod head with an Arca-compatible clamp, which Vanguard says applies to almost every Vanguard tripod. That means the same yoke can move from this monopod to a tripod you already own.

Is the Quest M62 A the second generation of the Quest monopod?

Yes. Vanguard's leaflet places the M62 A in the second generation of the Quest series and lists three upgrades: a wide Arca-compatible V-yoke, contoured rubber handles and retractable rubber to spiked feet.
