The new Ase Utra ECO rimfire moderator provides improved sound suppression and is intended for both pistol and rifle use. It can be used on 22LR, 17HMR and air rifles (up to 22cal).
The ECO suppressor is manufactured from aluminium with an anodised finish. Due to the simple design, the ECO suppressor can easily be taken apart for cleaning and maintenance.
The suppressor allows the use of iron sights or low-mounted optical sights. The standard threads for the suppressor are 1/2″ x 20 UNF or 1/2″x28 UNEF.
The suppressor reduces the sound pressure level by ca. 29–33 dB on a rifle and ca. 28-31 dB on a pistol. It should also be noted that the first shot with the Ase Utra suppressor is as quiet as the following ones, so there is no significant “first-round pop”.
