The HIKMICRO Alpex Pro A50P is a 12 MP digital day and night rifle scope with a 50 mm F1.8 lens, 4× to 24× zoom and on-board recording.
This is a digital scope built to stay on the rifle from first light to full dark. It is the simpler of the two Alpex Pro models, with no laser rangefinder, and it suits shooters who range with a handheld unit or shoot over ground they already know. If you want ranging and holdover in the scope itself, look at the Alpex Pro A50PL with LRF.
The controls are what set it apart from most digital sights. Focus sits on a side dial and magnification on a rear ring with a throw lever, so your hands go where they would on a conventional scope. It goes in ordinary 30 mm scope rings, with no proprietary mount to buy.
Magnification starts at 4×, which gives a 12.6 m wide view at 100 m. That puts it at its best across open fields and along hedgerows, and the 3 m minimum focus keeps it usable at airgun distances.
One thing to know on day one: the USB-C port charges the internal batteries only. The external 18650 comes out and charges separately, so a spare charged cell in your pocket is the easiest way to stretch a long night.
For foxing, rabbiting and general pest control it is a strong all-round choice, and it sits comfortably alongside the rest of the HikMicro range and our other night vision scopes.

The A50PL adds a built-in laser rangefinder reaching 1,200 m and a ballistic calculator, and weighs 889 g against the A50P's 852 g. Sensor, lens, display, magnification and recording are the same on both. Choose the A50P if you range with a handheld unit or shoot at known distances, and the A50PL if you want ranging and holdover inside the scope.
It is a daytime detection figure. At that distance the scope can show that something is there, not tell you what it is. Identification happens much closer, and at night the practical range depends on light levels and any illumination you add. Treat 1,500 m as a measure of optical reach in daylight rather than a shooting distance.
The USB-C port charges the two internal batteries only. The external 18650 is removed and charged in a separate battery charger. The 7 hour runtime is quoted at 25°C with the hotspot off, so cold nights and Wi-Fi use will shorten it. A second charged 18650 is the simplest way to extend a long session.
Yes. It fits standard 30 mm rings and focuses down to 3 m, which covers typical airgun distances. It is rated to 1,000 g of recoil, and recoil-activated recording means each shot is captured without pressing a button, which makes reviewing hits and misses after a session straightforward.
