Description

Key Features:

  • Red Multi-Reticle System switches between a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle and a circle-dot for precise or fast aiming

  • RMR footprint drops straight onto any optics-ready slide or mounting plate cut for it, with no adapter needed

  • Reinforced 7075-T6 aluminium housing marks the 507C X3 out from the X2, hard anodised and sealed to IP67 with 5000G vibration resistance

  • Side-loading CR1632 battery swaps out without unmounting the optic or disturbing zero

  • Solar Failsafe backs up the battery from ambient light while Shake Awake sleeps the sight when idle and wakes it on movement

  • Up to 50,000 hours of runtime at setting 6, with a lockout mode that stops accidental setting changes

  • 12 brightness settings including four night-vision levels, adjusting in 1 MOA clicks across ±50 MOA of travel

The 507C has been a fixture on optics-ready platforms for years, and the X3 revision brings it up to date. Chief among the changes is a reinforced 7075-T6 aluminium housing, hard anodised for a tougher shell than earlier versions, while the proven open-emitter layout and RMR footprint carry over unchanged. That footprint is the industry standard, so the sight drops directly onto any slide or mounting plate cut for it without an adapter.

At the heart of the optic is the Multi-Reticle System. You can run a 2 MOA dot on its own for precision, a 32 MOA circle for fast acquisition, or the two combined, switching between them to suit the task. The 650nm red emitter stays crisp across twelve brightness settings, four of them night-vision compatible. Power comes from a side-loading CR1632 that swaps without lifting the sight off its mount, backed by Solar Failsafe drawing on ambient light and by Shake Awake, which sleeps the unit when it sits idle. Rated up to 50,000 hours at setting 6, it is not an optic you will be feeding batteries often.

Durability is where this platform has always earned its keep. The housing is sealed to IP67 and rated to 5000G of vibration, the lens is multi-coated with unlimited eye relief, and a lockout mode keeps the settings put once you have them where you want them. Windage and elevation adjust in 1 MOA clicks with ±50 MOA of travel.

A dependable, low-maintenance red dot for long-barrelled pistols, gallery rifle and rimfire shooters who want Holosun's proven reticle system in a hardened housing.

Product Information

What's the difference between the 507C X2 and the X3?

The headline change is the housing. The X3 uses a reinforced 7075-T6 aluminium body, hard anodised for a tougher shell than the X2. The rest of the platform carries over: the same RMR footprint, the same Multi-Reticle System, Solar Failsafe, Shake Awake and side-loading battery. If your X2 is doing the job, the X3 is a durability update rather than a reinvention.

What will the 507C X3 fit?

It uses the RMR footprint, the most common optics-ready cut, so it drops straight onto any slide or mounting plate machined for that pattern without an adapter. In UK use that means optics-ready long-barrelled pistols, gallery rifle setups, and rimfire or carbine platforms fitted with an RMR plate. Check your slide or mount is cut for the RMR footprint before ordering.

What reticle options does it give me?

Three, all switchable on the optic through the Multi-Reticle System. A 2 MOA dot on its own for precision, a 32 MOA circle for faster target pick-up, or the two combined as a circle-dot. The red reticle runs across twelve brightness settings, four of them night-vision compatible.

How is it powered and how long does the battery last?

A single side-loading CR1632 gives up to 50,000 hours at brightness setting 6. Because the battery loads from the side, you can change it without lifting the sight off its mount or re-zeroing. Solar Failsafe keeps the reticle running off ambient light as a backup, and Shake Awake sleeps the optic when idle and wakes it on movement, so the cell is not draining between sessions.

507C X3 or 407C X3, which should I choose?

The difference is the reticle. The 407C X3 is a dot-only sight with the 2 MOA dot, while the 507C X3 adds the full Multi-Reticle System, so you also get the 32 MOA circle and the circle-dot. Housing, RMR footprint, solar and battery are the same across both. Pick the 507C X3 if you want the circle for quick acquisition, or the 407C X3 if you only ever run a plain dot.
