The Holosun AEMS-EVO-GD is an enclosed rifle sight with a high-contrast gold reticle for bright light and busy backgrounds, a large 1.26 × 0.98 in window and a 2 MOA dot and 65 MOA circle.
The Holosun AEMS EVO Sight Gold Dot is the one to look at if a red or green dot is hard to pick out against your usual backgrounds. The gold reticle is designed for bright light and busy backgrounds, which covers a lot of British shooting: low winter sun over stubble, a pale range backstop, or a field edge full of autumn colour.
Use the 2 MOA dot on its own for zeroing and any shot where you have time. Switch to the circle-dot when targets are moving or the stage is against the clock, because the outer ring draws the eye faster than a dot on its own.
The enclosed housing keeps rain and grit off the emitter, and the integral mount sits the dot high enough for an upright head position on straight-stocked rifles such as AR-pattern rimfires, straight-pulls and gallery rifles.

All three share the 1.26 × 0.98 in window, the 2 MOA dot and 65 MOA circle, and the same body size. The gold uses a 590 nm LED, which sits between the 540 nm green and the 650 nm red. Pick gold if your usual backgrounds are bright or cluttered, and red or green if you already know which colour your eye prefers.
Holosun designed the gold reticle for contrast in bright light and against busy backgrounds, where a red or green dot can be harder to pick out. If you often shoot into low sun, over pale stubble or snow, or against mixed autumn cover, gold is worth trying. It comes down to your eyes, so compare colours if you can.
Each click is 0.5 MOA, which moves the point of impact about 0.52 in at 100 yards, or roughly 1.45 cm at 100 m. There is ±50 MOA of windage and elevation travel, which is plenty for zeroing on most rail setups. Use the 2 MOA dot on its own while zeroing, as it covers less of the target.
