Having spare pre-loaded magazines is one of the simplest ways to spend more time shooting and less time reloading. A second or third magazine means you can swap out quickly at the range, in the field, or during competition. No fumbling with loose rounds when it matters most.
We stock magazines across every firearm type. Our rifle magazine range covers popular bolt-action platforms from CZ, Tikka, Anschütz and Howa, alongside semi-auto and straight-pull magazines from Tippmann Arms, Smith & Wesson, and GSG. For shotgunners, we carry detachable magazines for magazine-fed semi-autos and pump-actions from brands including Typhoon and ATA. Our air rifle magazine selection includes rotary and self-indexing magazines from Air Arms, BSA, Daystate, Weihrauch and Brocock, available in both .177 and .22 calibres. We also stock magazines for long-barrel pistols and section 5 handguns held on appropriate certificates.
When choosing a replacement magazine, compatibility is the most important factor. Magazines are designed for specific firearm models and often specific calibres, so always check the make, model and chambering of your gun before ordering. Some platforms share magazine designs across models, for example, AICS-pattern magazines fit a wide range of chassis systems from MDT, Accuracy International and others, but many are proprietary to individual firearms.
Capacity is another consideration. UK law does not restrict magazine capacity for section 1 firearms held on a firearms certificate, though some disciplines and ranges may have their own rules. For air rifles, magazine capacity varies by manufacturer, with most rotary magazines holding between 8 and 14 pellets depending on the brand and calibre.
We carry both factory original magazines and trusted aftermarket options. Factory magazines guarantee fit and function with your firearm, while aftermarket alternatives from brands such as Magpul, FAB Defense, MDT and Black Dog can offer higher capacity, improved ergonomics or better value. If you are unsure which magazine fits your firearm, our team is happy to advise, as an established registered firearms dealer, we know these products inside out.
You need to match the magazine to your firearm's exact make, model and calibre. Check your owner's manual or the markings on your existing magazine for the part number. If you're unsure, contact us with your firearm details and we'll confirm which magazine you need.
Yes. There is no legal restriction on magazine capacity for firearms held on a valid firearms certificate (FAC) in the UK. However, individual shooting clubs or ranges may set their own capacity limits for certain disciplines. Always check your venue's rules before purchasing.
Quality aftermarket magazines from reputable manufacturers such as FAB Defense, Magpul, MDT and Black Dog are widely regarded as reliable and are used extensively in competition and field shooting. That said, factory magazines are always guaranteed to fit. If in doubt ask our team for a recommendation based on your firearm.
Keep magazines clean and dry, and periodically disassemble them to remove debris, dust or fouling from the follower and spring. Avoid leaving magazines fully loaded for extended periods, as this can weaken the spring over time. A light application of gun oil on the spring and follower will help ensure smooth feeding.
