The LQ35L is the first Lynx with a rangefinder built in, and that changes how the unit earns its keep. Scan, pick out a heat source, press for a distance, and you go to the rifle already knowing whether the shot is on. For foxing and deer management that removes the guesswork a spotter alone leaves you with, and the 10 m minimum means it reads the hedge line as readily as the far field.
Treat 1,800 m as the detection figure: that is how far the sensor registers something warm. Telling a fox from a cat, or a doe from a buck, happens at a fraction of that, typically a few hundred metres depending on cover and weather. The 640 sensor and F1.0 lens are what push that identification distance out compared with the 384 pixel Lynx models.
The shutterless system matters more in the field than on paper. Older thermal spotters pause for a calibration click every minute or so, usually as something moves. This one keeps a shutter only for start up and big temperature swings, so mid scan the picture stays live. Focus is a single ring at the front with a separate diopter adjustment, and the two second start from cold means it can live in a pocket until it is needed.

The 1,800 m figure is detection, meaning the sensor registers a warm shape at that distance. Recognising what it is happens much closer, and identifying a specific animal closer still, typically a few hundred metres in UK conditions. Weather, cover and the size of the quarry all move that number. Treat the spec as reach for scanning, not for making a decision.
The L is the laser rangefinder. Both share the 640 × 512 sensor, 35 mm F1.0 lens and 1,800 m detection range. The LQ35L adds a Class 1 laser that measures from 10 m to 1,000 m to within a metre, shown on screen. If you already carry a rangefinder or only shoot known distances, the LQ35 does the same spotting job.
The 19 mm is the wider, shorter reaching unit for close woodland and hedgerow work, and it has no rangefinder. The LQ35L trades some width for the 640 sensor, the 35 mm lens and 1,000 m ranging. If most of your ground is open fields or you shoot foxes at distance, the LQ35L. If it is thick cover at short range, the 19 mm.
Both run a 640 class sensor with a 35 mm lens and a 1,000 m laser rangefinder, so the thermal picture and ranging are in the same league. The Condor is the larger body with a bigger grip. The Lynx is built to go in a pocket at 354.5 g. Pick on how you carry it rather than on the sensor.
